Former Major League Baseball Player To Be the Face of Speed Gel

Jason Romano Endorses New Anti-Inflammatory Treatment

Gensco Laboratories, LLC announced today Jason Romano, former Major League Baseball player, to be the face and spokesperson of Speed Gel. Having personally used Speed Gel to recover from injuries, Romano is passionate about spreading the word of its unique technology and benefits. Gensco Laboratories, LLC will be launching Speed Gel in late Fall 2009.

"We are pleased to have Jason Romano as part of our Speed Gel team," said Scott Snyder, co-founder of Gensco Laboratories, LLC. "With Speed Gel's patented transdermal anti-inflammatory technology, we are able to provide additional relief to athletes in all sports who suffer from aches and pains."

Speed Gel is a radically different way to treat muscle and joint pain, injuries and inflammation. It delivers treatment directly to muscles and tissue using a patented transdermal gel, meaning that pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory ingredients are carried directly through the skin. Unlike muscle rubs that mask pain and oral pain relievers that travel through the entire body and don't target the injury, Speed Gel localizes treatment and starts the recovery process on contact.

"As a professional athlete who has many aches and pains, I was blown away by the relief I felt using Speed Gel," said Jason Romano. "I'm excited to join the Speed Gel team and educate other athletes about the amazing benefits of this product."

This fall, Romano will bring his Speed Gel experience to professional athletic teams, universities and sporting events throughout Florida. Romano hopes to spread awareness of Speed Gel's unique benefits by handing out samples and talking about how it helped his career.

In 1997, Romano was drafted directly out of high school as a 1st round pick for the Texas Rangers. Spending the first 5 years in the Minor Leagues, Romano's strong performance made him the Rangers' top prospect and made his well-earned Major League debut in April of 2002 against the Anaheim Angels. Romano was also a super utility player for the Colorado Rockies, the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Cincinnati Reds. After suffering from a series of major injuries, Romano retired from baseball in Spring 2009.
